Recruitment information:
Australian participants were recruited through the Careers and Employment Service at the University of Melbourne. Belgian participants were recruited from a pool of 439 undergraduates at the University of Leuven, who completed the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D; Radloff, 1977) approximately four months before the study began.
Incentives:
AU$40 (Australian sample) or €70 (Belgian sample) for involvement in a larger sample.
Exclusions:
Australia: none. Belgium: 1 withdrew, 3 removed due to equipment malfunction.
